I'm in, game on!

Greetings. I'm Joachim, 2nd semester MA TESOL student. In my youth I was an avid video gamer, a Nintendo-loyalist (I would turn up my nose at 'inferior' brands like Sega), but I lost interest as I turned 16, got a car, and started talking to girls.

I'm excited about delving back into the world of gaming, particularly in an educational context.

I'm interested in improving language teaching methodologies. I intend to specialize in effectively incorporating technology and multi-media into the second language learning classroom.
